THE GEOTERMICA PROJECT is a geothermal energy project whose focus is to identify and prospect new licensing areas with high geothermal potential. The project focuses on Italy, where the conditions for extracting energy from geothermal energy are very good, but also countries such as Iceland and Turkey are of interest. The project aims to develop small-scale technology into a major component of unutilized potential available globally in areas with high or medium geothermal gradient. Geothermal electrical energy is characterized by a high degree of delivery and therefore provides a valuable supportive complement to other renewable energy sources such as wind and solar energy, which facilitates the transition to a sustainable energy system.

The project is currently wholly owned by the public limited company, Renewable Ventures Nordic AB (publ). For more information about the company, click here.
